Deputy will need to have ACL surgery on Feb 28.
He is on hold for adoptions until after his surgery and recovery. If you are interested in meeting him please watch his adoption page or the rescue Facebook page for updates.
Deputy is a really cool dude. He loves humans - all kinds! He is a chill dog that just wants to be near his humans. He is housetrained and will go in the crate, but isnt fond of it. He doesnt need to be crated.
He needs to have someone home alot, someone that can take him to work with him or another dog in the home.
He is 5 years young and was found as a stray. A police officer found him on the side of the road and stopped to help him. When the officer opened his door, Deputy jumped right in! Hence his name! He loves car rides! He will ride shotgun for hours!
He is also sponsored! His adoption fee is paid for - however anyone interested will still have to fill out an application and be approved per the regular process.
