Tripp was found in a rural home tied to a chain outside. That may not seem unusual but his front foot was dangling and obviously broken.  Our foster approached the home and found out Tripp's foot was run over by a vehicle and when we became aware of it, it was 2 weeks later.

The owner surrendered Tripp to our foster who took him and then called PUPR for help.  We got him cleaned up and on some pain pills and antibiotics.  

He saw a vet on 12/19 who did X-rays and indicated the front leg would have to be removed.  We were able to schedule the surgery for 12/21.

TRIPP is not yet available for adoption but will be once he is healed.
