Meet Will, William or Max as he is sometimes called!  He was found as a stray in WI and it was getting cold, so the finder brought him inside.  He is a young, sweet male that is good with other cats and a calm dog.  He would love a home with another cat so he can cuddle with them!  He is an easy going cat that likes to play and nap!  Typical life of a cat!

We did have Will to the vet and he was diagnosed with bad gingivitis.  And for a  young cat, it could lead to some dental issues in the future.  Right now he is fine and we are doing some teeth cleaning/brushing - almost like a mouthwash- to help him.  He did receive a medication to help with the inflammation and it has helped tremendously by reducing the redness in his gums. This could be an ongoing issue - but we dont know and per the veterinarian, we cannot predict how bad it will get or what caused it.  Since he is young it could be from inbreeding or poor diet as a kitten. The worst case is teeth breakage and they would then need to be pulled.  If this happens he can still eat a soft food diet ,but keep in mind this is the worst case scenario.
