Rebel needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

Rebel's owner fell on some hard times and unfortunately, he cannot take Rebel to a new place. So Rebel is being returned and is in dire need for a very special foster or adotper.
Rebel is a young lab retriever mix. He is a tall lean dog that is a big, goofy, happy boy. He is great with other dogs. HE LOVES OTHER DOGS and we will require a home with other dogs.
But Rebel has some quirks that make him more difficult to adopt out. He has a stranger danger fear and until he knows you, he will bark, growl and lunge. He is very food motivated and LOVES treats, so a VERY Dog savvy person is needed to help teach him - through treats - that humans are Ok and he will be safe. Once he knows you and his surroundsing, he is the perfect dog!
However, he needs a home with few visitors and distractions.
A fenced yard is requried.
He is a smart dog that picks up on the actions of other dogs.
He needs a strong and dog savvy handler that can continue to work with him and teach him that humans are ok.
He would be good with kids over age 14 but at this time we do prefer a home without children.
He is great a great traveler too!
He is a happy boy that has some special needs. We know that the right home for him is out there.
