Koda is a Lab/Husky mix. He is approximately 60 pounds and is 1 year old. He is very high energy and needs lots of exercise. I actually think he would really excel at dock jumping! We feel he would thrive in a home with no children (or older children) and as an only dog or with other dogs that are bigger than he is. No cats, small animals, or farm animals (chickens, etc), as he seems to have a high prey drive. We also feel he needs an experienced handler that will have the time to train him. Lots of land or a fenced in yard would be ideal.

The ideal potential foster or adoptive home would likely be an only dog home or a home with dogs larger than Koda (he is 60 lbs). No cats, no farm animals (chickens). He might benefit from someone who is home more often, or who will take him places, but it wouldn't be a necessity. 

Due to his high energy, he might do better with a family that has older children or no children. An experienced dog handler would be ideal, someone who has the time to train him, as he needs work on his manners. A fenced in yard, in ground fence, or someone with lots of land for him to run is a must. He loves to be close to his people and has lots of love to give. ❤️

Koda is up to date on all shots, and is neutered. He would come with a slow feeder bowl, collar, harness, kennel, and any toys we’ve purchased for him.
