He is good with dogs, chickens, ducks, cats, horses and kids. He is very easy going and loves human affection. As typical of his breed, he does pick one person in the home to bond with - whomever he sees as the pack leader. He follows that person and has little interest in anyone else. He tolerates the antics of small children most of the time, kids are not his favorite

 

He is a serious fella that doesnt have much interest in toys or wants to play fetch.

 

His ideal home would be with an adult or couple who have an active lifestyle and wants a buddy to join them. If more than one person in the home, they would have to be a strong leader to teach Sarge that they are in charge or he will become protective which is typical of his breed. He would love to be your only dog but does ok with most other dogs as well. A meet n greet would be required to be sure another resident dog is a fit.

 

He is neutered, Heartworm Negative, up to date on vaccinations and a sweet, healthy boy!
