Beaux has come a long way while in our rescue care.  He was found in a hunting shack in a remote area of Alabama.  He was skinny and malnourished.  He was taken to our foster in AL and we were given a long list of things wrong with him and a scary prognosis for survival.  He was full of worms including heartworm.  He was chipped and neutered, but of course those people gave him away awhile ago and didnt want him back.  So, Beaux was not a PUPR dog and we treated him for heartworm and put some weight on him.  

He is finally ready to travel to WI and find his forever home! 

Beaux is a sweet boy. He is very calm and easy going. He loves to play with toys by tossing them in the air. He does not mind a calm cat.  He is good with calm dogs - dogs that are hyper are little much for him.  He has been around bigger dogs mostly and had no issues. 

He would love a home where he can hang out - get some short walks, snuggle on the couch and just be your buddy.   He would love to be your one and only but is OK to share with another doggy friend that is low key also.
