PLEASE SHARE! CHARLIE NEEDS A HOME! Charlie is back on the market. The potential adopters decided to pass. Please share. Charlie likes a chill home. He likes getting treats for being good and having a daily routine. He likes to lay at your feet when you watch tv, wash the dishes and cook dinner. He loves going for walks, likes girl dogs the best, but is fine with boy dogs too. Likes to play tug with another dog (and me,) is full of energy during the day. He loves jerky treats for being good and is doing well Day to day. He loves to say good morning by jumping in bed with you and rubbing his face on yours like a cat. lol Always happy to see you when you get home and loves car rides. He prefers people that run a chill house and let him do his thing. He has my dad wrapped around his paw. Please share as he needs a good home.

March 28, 2022 : Charlie PUPDATE!

What I am looking for:

An active couple or individual

Love kids over 15! They know how to handle me!

Busy during the day, chill at night

A girlfriend. I really like girl dogs. Boy dogs are ok, but I have to keep my eye on them to make sure they know I am here.

Training classes. I want to show you what I have learned and how smart I am!

He is ready for a home! But we need a home  that is specific:

1.  Home must be local to Sheboygan WI (within 1 hour) so he may continue with training. Looking for a place close to Sheboygan WI! No out of state adoption for this guy.

2. Another dog  is required - bigger is better and must be a Female dog.

3. Very active home, no kids, younger adults he likes, he prefers women but is starting to get better with adult men but needs assertive, calm, to ignore him and no one that wants to snuggle him too much.

4.He likes space. He loves to play and really enjoys Learning! 

5.  Charlie likes the ladies... would prefer a home with a woman as his main caregiver. 

This post is from Charlie: Hey guys! I am having a blast staying with Rebekah, but she said I can’t stay forever so…here is what I am looking for in a forever hooman or hoomans:

1. Active people are my jam. I LOVE exploring the outdoors, going for walks and hikes.

2. Routine and schedule. I enjoy knowing what to look forward to in my day. It helps me have active time and down time.

3. I LOVE car rides. My favorite thing is sticking my head out and feeling the wind in my hair. I whine if I don’t get to stick my head out.

4. No kids please. I have no experience with them, haven’t been around them and would like to keep it that way. I am sure they are great, but they scare me.

5. I enjoy other dogs. No sissy’s please. They need to be confident, medium to larger size and have understanding of boundaries. (I do have a napoleon complex at times.) I respect other dogs, I just don’t like dogs that pester me in my face. Rebekah says I do a great job avoiding conflict, HOWEVER, if a dog won’t leave me alone I WILL tell them to BACK OFF!

6. My favorite time of day is the mornings! I am ready to go, spin around, jump up and give you kisses! I feel great in the morning!

7. After an active day I enjoy going home, rubbing my face in my blankets, rolling on my back and curling up in my beds. When I trust you you can join in this ritual and pet my belly and tell me you love me.

8. I feel more comfortable with women. I don’t mind men, but take time to trust them. I like all the staff at daycare(guys and girls between 20-30) and people around Rebekah’s age(she said to say early 40’s) She has a guy living with her that is older (late 70’s) and I wasn’t sure of him at first, but now he gives me treats and pets so he is cool.

9. Lastly, I was physically mistreated. I know it wasn’t my fault, but I have trust issues and don’t like being yelled at harshly or manhandled. I like positive voices, will allow you to correct me with the leash and a firm voice and when I choose YOU, you will not regret it.

I am 2 years old, Rebekah is helping my eye feel better(dry eye and cherry eye) and I am in good health. I am neutered and up to date in shots.
