Meet Copper!  He was a stray in GA and landed in a kill shelter - he was on his last day when PUPR said we could help!  He had a foster offer in GA so he is enjoying a soft bed!  He will be neutered and vaccinated on Jan 25. 

UPDATE - Copper has tested positive for heartworm.  He is undergoing treatment in GA and will travel to WI in April 2022.  

Copper's ideal home would be with kids over age 12. He can get excited and jump up but that can be worked on.  He loves to go for walks. He loves to play in the yard - so a fenced yard would be ideal, but no required if recall is worked on.  He loves to play fetch and will return the ball!  He enjoys his toys and likes to keep them by his bed. He does like to be a lap dog too and snuggle with you on the couch!  He has not yet had a chance to meet the other dogs in the home, but will once his vetting is complete.  He came to us very skinny so we need to get him healthy before he can travel as well.
