This post is very near and dear to our hearts at Paws Up. It is a hard post also. This past November 2021 we lost a supporter, a foster and most important a friend who we loved so much. Anne Sander passed away at the age of 44 leaving behind a loving family (husband, two younger boys and her adult daughter); not only that, but her passion and her fur babies.
It is with saddest of hearts, that her fur babies need a new home. It is for the best and we want to help this family. They have been through so much with the unexpected loss, that we will help them. And we know you will too. They are going to remain in their home until we can find them all a new place.

Sassy is about 4 1/2 years old spayed. She has the cutest underbite you will ever see. She is fully house trained and uses a litter box. She is crate trained and loves the couch. She is kept separate from the dogs because it is a prey - predator relationship. She has only been inside the house so she is not a full time outdoor pig.
Pigs are not like dogs! Pigs take a lot of time and are very smart but are also great family members. Our board member Tara has a pot belly pig so we have a lot of knowledge and will help anyone who is interested understand how to take care of them. This transition will be the hardest on her since pigs are very emotional and Anne loved these animals so much we know she understands this is what’s best for them.
Can you please help Anne’s fur babies? Are you available to give them or one of them a good home? To be considered please fill out an application at:
We will be processing the applications and an adoption fee will be attached.
