ZIGGY - has had a rough few months.  He had it made, lived in a great home with another cat... but that owner went to a nursing home which left ZIggy and his housemate homeless.  They were taken in by a nice family but Ziggy was scared and not introduce properly.  He hid and the owner felt he wasnt an indoor cat and put him outside.... poor Ziggy lived in a window well.  He was fed, but of course, not meant to be an outdoor cat.  Then a nice man comes along that wanted a cat... so Ziggy was brought to his house.  Unfortunately, he was not introduced properly and just let loose in the home.  Ziggy hid again. He did eat and use the box, but wasnt the friendly social kitty this man wanted.  So, PUPR is contacted to help find a nice foster to help gain his trust again.  The nice man did all the vetting on Ziggy and he arrived at our foster's home on March 17 - hopefully the Luck of the Irish will be in his favor!  

Ziggy is settled in a quiet room with a wonderfully calm and patient foster.  His first night went great with eating and using the box.  The foster could pet him when he was eating.  He is watching her from the bed but is curious and with time we feel he will be a great companion for someone in a quiet home.

Ziggy is doing great in his foster home!   He comes to the foster and loves to sit on her lap. He would do best in a quiet home with one or two people.  He would do best in a home as an only pet and no children.  He is getting more curious to the foster's home and venturing outside of his room to see what the world has to offer!
