Macie is a senior girl who has had a terrible road. Abuse, neglect, torture, ears cut off, teeth shaved down and then heartworm treatment are just some of the things she has gone through. She is a girl who is just looking to finally learn what love is. A couch, a bed, maybe a short walk a day and a yard to lay in would be her retirement dream.

No cats for this senior gal and maybe one older male low-key dog would suit her. Younger dogs that want to play will not work. Female dogs are not her favorite either. But hey, we humans are picky too. She deserves the love. She loves humans, is good on her walks, does want to chase wildlife, and is a very petite girl.

 

FROM HER FOSTER:

This princess is going to be so easy for whomever is lucky enough to get her! 100% potty trained. Crates so easily and without complaint. Does not whine or bark unless she needs to potty. Is not destructive. Learns routine quickly. Walks very well on leash. Does not have any issues with handling (looking inside mouth and trimming nails). Sleeps nicely on the bed or couch (once she's had her fair share of pets and kisses of course). We are very sad that she isn't the right fit for our house, but she deserves to be the queen of her castle!
