Dozer came to us as a local surrender - he was given away free at the age of 2 weeks - way to early to be taken from his mom.... but a nice person took him in, bottle fed him and cared for him.  At 8 weeks, that person felt he was too much so he was posted again for free... a caring person took him to avoid him falling into the wrong hands.. she didnt intend to keep him, but did call PUPR to help - and of course we did!  

Dozer has been in a foster home since Jan 13 and doing very well with 2 other dogs and cats.  He has not been around small children - he would be ok with older kids because he does jump up and can be nippy.. he is a puppy yet and those things will change as training continues.

He does need a home with another dog  (this is required for an applicant) that will play with him but also teach him manners.  He can be a little sassy as he wants to get his way - again he is a puppy and learning to share.  He has no issues playing with either a male or female dog.  He has been around cats and just wants to play with them. He is a  puppy so needs work on listening, obedience and is getting better at potty training.  Dozer is a sweet, friendly, confident puppy that will be a great addition to any home.
