MEET MR PICKLES! He came to use from a kill shelter in Georgia with his brother Hemdall. They were surrendered when their owner lost her job and home and couldnt care for them any longer. She was devastated to give them up but knew they needed a safe place to go. Fortuntately PUPR was able to help them!
Pickles would love to be an only dog or with dogs that are smaller than him. He is best in a feline free home and with with kids over 14yrs. He is not a fan of the crate so he would love to be a companion to someone that is home alot or if the home has an indoor/outdoor kennel set up, so he could use that when the owner is gone. The confinement of a crate gives him anxiety but in an open kennel he is just fine! He loves, loves, loves the outdoors! He would love a country home where he can be outside alot! He loves to lay in the yard in the sunshine! He is a smart boy, about 2 years young, akita/pittie mix and fully vetted.

His adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, rabies, microchip, vaccinations and he is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
