Sweet, sweet taffy... she was a stray from Southern IL and landed in a kill shelter.  They had no space and contacted PUPR to help.  She traveled to WI in a horrible thunderstorm with record rain and winds... but she was a trooper. She was scared, but trusted we could keep her safe.  She arrived in a foster home, settled in nicely and the next day she is swimming in the lake and going for a boat ride!  Yes, this girl likes water (unusual for the breed) and a boat ride to boot!  This girl is shy at first, but just wants to snuggle in your lap.  She is doing well with the cats in the foster home and tested well with dogs. She has not yet been around children. She is still in need of her spay and updated vetting and will be ready for a home after June 20.  If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application at our website
