Hello! I am REX a sweet labrador retriever mix. I was surrendered to a shelter in Southern IL because my owner couldnt pay for my vetting.  I am a 5yr old lab mix.  I am a very good boy - I like most other dogs, no reaction to cats and good with kids.  I am a smart boy and know some commands such as sit and stay.  I take treats softly.  I go into a crate easily. Its not my favorite place and I will whine a little, but then I do settle down.  I arrived in WI during a horrible thunder storm and wasnt phased at all!  I do well in the car, but I like to be up in front to see where I am going!  

I do need to be neutered and have updated vetting - then I will be ready for a home.
