PUPDATE!  June 2 2020  - Sheroo is doing great with his training.  He does still nip so we are saying no children.  He seems to do it when he gets over excited during play time.  He is going to dog play groups to help with his socialization.  He has learned place/bed in the home and waits at door ways.  He is working on recall and watch me, leave it and drop it.  Sheroo loves early morning walks at the park and hikes on the weekends.  He does lunge at cars that are close to the sidewalk, but the foster is working on that.  Sheroo is also a sock stealer when he wants attention!  

PUPDATE! May 10 2020-  Sheroo has arrived in WI and is in a foster home settling in.  We have noticed that he is a bit timid at first, but warms up if you talk to him. He has been through alot so that will hopefully get better with consistency and trust.  He also needs some behavior training for nipping - so at this time, a home without children is best.  He also has a strong prey drive so no small animals - cats and possibly even caged animals - may not be a fit.  We will test him with small dogs to see how he does.  So far he does well with large dogs.

HELLO! I am Sheroo!  I was adopted into a home when I was a puppy.. and boy did I have it made!  It was great, they played with me, taught me things, I had a family with kids!  It was the best ever.. until I tried to protect the child during an argument but the big people... they reached to grab my little human and I bit. yeah, I know I am not supposed to bite, but I didnt want my little human to get hurt!  The family didnt want me anymore and I went back to the shelter.  I was lucky, PUPR said they could help and will work with me so I learn not to bite.  I know I am not supposed to and I promise I wont do it again!! 

I just want a family again as I have lots of love to give!  

I am still in SC trying to hitch a ride to Wisconsin. This COVID stuff is making it hard to travel.. but I am being a good boy! I like to hang out with the other dogs and I big yard to play in, but I am dreaming of the soft bed and snuggles with my human again.  I hope to find you soon!  Please wait for me! Love, Sheroo

Upon arrive to WI, we will behavior test Sheroo to ensure he is good with kids. At this time we are saying older kids only.
